Mahogany circular table from the Napoleonic Residences on Elba

A circular table, in mahogany, with a table top in black marble. The full relief sculpted sphynxes are of gilt wood and partially painted in imperial green. The table includes lion's paw feet, and is an Italian manufacture, from the early 19th century.
 
Presented at a press conference held on 26 September, 2010, this item is one of the National Museums of the Napoleonic Residences on Elba's new acquisitions.
