Notes:

While Napoleon and his troops were fighting under Napoleon at Jena, Davout, much outnumbered, led his troops to victory at Auerstedt, taking advantage of the disorganisation of of the Prussian troops as a result of the serious wound suffered by the Duke of Brunswick (he was to die three days later).
