In 2011, a branch of the Musée des Lettres et Manuscrits, run by the Aristophil Society, opened in Brussels, Belgium. The museum, located in the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert, at the heart of Brussels, was inaugurated on 22 September, 2011, and is a short walk from the Mont des Arts, a popular vantage point with tourists and Bruxellois alike.

The museum, like its Paris-based incarnation, is dedicated to exhibiting books, letters, manuscripts, autographs, and other drawings of historical and cultural significance. Organised into two separate levels, the museum hosts both temporary exhibitions (totalling four or five per year), and its own permanent collections. The museum offers the general public the opportunity to view rare manuscripts and text-based documents that would otherwise be hidden away in private collections. Unsurprisingly, the Brussels wing of the museum places a particular emphasis on famous Belgian writers, historians, scientists, and artists.
