The Australian Napoleonic congress is back again in 2009. This year's dates are Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November, with the congress returning to the original format of guest lecturers, wargaming, re-enactors and a dinner which is co- hosted by the Goulburn Pipes and Drums. The event will be conducted in Goulburn NSW Australia, at the Goulburn Soldiers Club in the Chisholm and the lecture rooms. At this early stage, anybody who wishes to conduct a lecture is invited to contact Matthew Williamson; the organisers are planning to pay the lecturer a speaking fee and provide refreshments for them. The lectures are planned for forty minutes in length, with five lectures per day. The organisers are also seeking quality Napoleonic games to for the event. The Goulburn Wargames club intends to conduct three games: one Grand game (General de Brigade), one skirmish game and one naval game. Further information will be released soon.
