On 24 February, 2010, the Friends of the British Cemetery, Elvas, is holding a fund-raising reception in the Guards Museum at the Wellington Barracks in London. Proceeds will go towards the restoration of the Chapel of St. John, in the British Peninsular War Cemetery, in Elvas, Portugal.
Wine and refreshments will be served, and there will be a raffle on the night. The reception takes place in the museum galleries, where you will be surrounded by their magnificent collection.
