An exhibition about Napoleon and his influence on the city of Antwerp, which had been under French rule since 1794. Under Napoleon, the Willem dock and the Napoleon dock were created, affording greater space and ease of passage for trade ships, as well as making it an important military port. French influence also extended to the town planning of Antwerp itself, and the exhibition traces this lasting influence.
Where: Museum Aan de Strom, Antwerp (Belgium).
When: Tuesday - Sunday 10am - 5pm (9pm on Thursdays)
