Call for Papers for the Massena Society panels at the Consortium of the Revolutionary Era and the Society of Military History conference. These are two separate opportunities for deserving graduate students.
The Massena Society panel continues to support graduate students on diverse topics in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic eras. This past year, our students were one of four Presidential Panels at the Society of Military History, and also presented at the Consortium at High Point University. Both contained excellent papers, contributing original research and the panels had a robust discussion afterwards.
Please help us get this notice into as many deserving students' hands as possible. Send it to your friends with graduate students; pass it to your friends; post it on department bulletin boards. We need to have applications back by 1 September 2015 so we can notify those selected as well as give those not selected enough time to form a panel. For those not selected for society funding, we will assist in helping them put together paper proposals if they wish.
