Pultusk 2006  [06/07/2006 - 09/07/2006]

The commemoration of events of 1806, arrival of the French army to Warsaw (November 28th 1806) and the battle of Pultusk (December 26th-27th 1806).

Organised by the Russian Foundation Empire of History, Project Austerlitz represented by Davay Communications Ltd. and the Masovia Center of Culture and Art.
 
The event will start on Thursday July 6th with the arrival of participants to Pultusk and the construction of camps. On Friday both armies will be formed on the battlefield at Pultusk followed by the day-long manoeuvres.
 
On Saturday the event participants will move to Warsaw. A part of the event is going to be the exhibition of rich Napoleonic collections of the Foundation Empire of History in the premises of the Great Theatre. The program will continue with the procession through the Warsaw historic city centre finishing with the ceremony of welcoming of the French army by the city officials on the Royal palace square.
 
On Sunday the authentic battlefield of December 1806 will see the battle after the scenario inspired by the course of real combats including sound and pyrotechnic effects. Following will be the festive procession in front of the spectators and the final parade. For the invited guests - generals, senior officers and groups commanders - an exceptional experience will be prepared for the Sunday evening. In the unique premises of the Royal Palace in Warsaw will be held the Empire ball where the commander-in-chief of the event and the director of the Foundation Empire of History the general de division Oleg Sokolov will celebrate his birthday.
