The Battle of Trafalgar Conference  at Action Stations, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, UK [14/10/2005 - 15/10/2005]

To mark the final year of the Nelson Decade the Conference Steering Group, led by the Royal Naval Museum in partnership with BAE Systems plc and supported by Action Stations, The 1805 Club, The Nelson Society, The Society for Nautical Research and the Royal Navy, invites you to attend The Battle of Trafalgar Conference. This important two-day international event is being held in the auditorium of the hi-tech Action Stations at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.
 
Naval historians and scholars from Britain, France and Spain will present papers on the Trafalgar campaign, the fleets and the men, the engagement itself, its legacy and the significance of "The Nelson Touch" to 21st century naval warfare.
