This year, the Fondation Napoléon History Grand Prix and Research Grant Awards Ceremony took place on Tuesday 8 December, in the Salon d'honneur at the Hôtel des Invalides, in the presence of H.I.H. the Princess Napoleon and the Prince d'Essling, President of the Fondation Napoléon. These prizes are awarded each year for work relating to the two French Empires.

Victor-André Masséna, Prince d'Essling, President of the Fondation Napoléon, presented a prize, on behalf of the Fondation and the Souvenir Napoléonien, to Emmanuel Ticchi, a twelve-year-old student, for the interest he has shown in the history of the First Empire.
