Organisers anticipate that many papers will concentrate on the 100 Days and perhaps Grenoble’s native son, Stendhal. As always, other papers of interest and important new research will also be considered. Topics can include military, political, social and cultural aspects of the period.
Provisional programme: Monday and Tuesday, conference at La Plateforme, Wednesday conference at the university. Thursday morning visit Laffrey and then in Vizille the castle (Museum of the Revolution), with lunch in the city. Afternoon in Grenoble and in the evening the Gala Dinner at the Restaurant le Téléphérique. Friday visit Grenoble, the museum of Grenoble and the Stendhal museum. Saturday visit Lyon.
