As part of the 150th anniversary of the fighting at Bazeilles, the École militaire [Military School] in Paris is hosting a conference in its Foch amphitheatre on Wednesday 14 October, from 9am to 5.30pm, on the theme of “From The Alma to Bazeilles: Marine Troops in Combat (1854-1870)”.
