Napoleonic tour of Trieste (Italy)

The “Petite Promenade” is a guided tour in the city of Trieste, organised as part of the project for the promotion of tourism and culture “Imperial Destinations”, dedicated to the presence of Napoleon Bonaparte and his family in the city and Friuli Venezia Giulia, created by Aps Communication and promoted together with PromoTurismoFVG.

During the Petite Promenade, traces and memories of Napoleon and French people who chose Trieste between the 18th and 20th centuries are evoked, to discover the tangible signs and suggestions impressed on the language, culture and fabric of the city.

The guided tour (lasting 2.30 hours), organised by 2 East Italy Rete d’Imprese in collaboration with the Association of North-East Italy Guides, is scheduled every Saturday, until October 31, starting at 4pm, from Via Einaudi 1 (at the shop “Tipicamente Triestino”).

For the visit in Italian there is no minimum number of participants (while it is possible to request it in a foreign language or on another day with at least ten participants per language), the cost is 15 Euros (20% discount to holders of the Fvg Card, free children up to 14 years old if accompanied), including a snack break at Caffè Tommaseo.
