A wide ranging, international public conference on conflict and society during the Napoleonic era. Keynote speeches will be delivered by Dr Edward Coss (United States Command and General Staff College), Dr Catriona Kennedy (Univeristy of York) and Dr Robert Poole (University of Central Lancashire). This conference, organised by the British Commission for Military History, and sponsored by the Sir Michael Howard Centre for the History of War, is open to all members of the public, students, academics, and military history enthusiasts, who would like to hear the wide-ranging, programme of 51 speakers from 4 continenents.
