The Fondation Napoléon (founded in 1987) is a registered charity committed to the encouragement of the study of and interest in the history of the First and Second Empires and the preservation of Napoleonic heritage.

NAPOLEONIC NEWS Musée de l'Armée: reopening of the Second Empire wing On 20 March, 2010, the Musée de l'Armée will reopen to the public the permanent collection displays situated in its Eastern Wing, which have been closed for refurbishment for four years.

BOOK OF THE MONTH 1812: Russia's Patriotic War, by Laurence Spring In this book, Laurence Spring looks at Napoleon's Russian campaign from a Russian standpoint, using sources from over forty eyewitness accounts, not only from Russians, but from English, French and Americans who were in Russia at the time.
