This section is a digital library offering access to the digitised books from the Bibliothèque M. Lapeyre and documents in the widest sense of the term (books, articles, engravings, etc), either scanned or transcribed in their entirety and available on the web, which are related to the First or Second Empires or published on those periods (several thousand books and articles online!).

The documents digitised by the Fondation Napoléon (listed here) are full searchable, and any images can be viewed using the high resolution zoom feature.

"Napoleonica® la revue" is an international scholarly online history journal on First and Second Empire subjects is published by the Fondation Napoléon. It offers articles in French or English, documents and thematic bibliographies. It is free and available exclusively online.

A website offering digitalised primary source material, including: the papers of the Napoleonic Conseil d'Etat, the correspondance of Napoleon I with Bigot de Préameneu, Conseiller d’Etat and later Minister for Religion, the correspondance of Vivant Denon, director of the Musée Napoléon (in French). New content is added on a regular basis.
