Robert Wilson served with the British expedition to Egypt in 1800, and his book on the campaign is most famous for having made the false charge that Napoleon had poisoned 20,000 prisoners at Jaffa, a calumny the Emperor was denying the rest of his life. These two volumes are a reprint of the 1803 edition published in London. Elibron is a publisher of ebooks and reprints.
