The Ajaccio Museum of Fine Arts, in collaboration with the Mobilier National, presents the exhibition “Napoléon au bivouac”. The Emperor was a great traveller, whether in times of war or peace, and this exhibition shows his care for details and for the respect of the Imperial etiquette – one of his habits he never compromised with.
A recently restored tent together with more than 70 works are on display, from every day furniture to paintings showing this Imperial life on the move, until the 12 May.
