The Ajaccio Museum of Fine Arts, in collaboration with the Mobilier National, presents the exhibition “Napoléon au bivouac”. The Emperor was a great traveller, whether in times of war or peace, and this exhibition shows his care for details and for the respect of the Imperial etiquette – one of his habits he never compromised with.
A recently restored tent together with more than 70 works are on display, from every day furniture to paintings showing this Imperial life on the move, until the 12 May.
From 1 October to 30 April: Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10am to 5pm
Thursdays and Fridays from 12pm to 5pm. Sundays from 12pm to 5pm, on the third weekend of the month. The museum is closed on Tuesdays.
From 2 May to 30 September: Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10:30am to 6pm. Thursdays and Sundays from 12 to 6pm, Fridays from 12 to 6pm. The museum is closed on Tuesdays.
