1812: Food and Herbs in Maryland's History

Author Katherine B. Moose will discuss how food was provided and consumed leading up to the War of 1812. She will also demonstrate cooking the foods typical in the war period. Moose is the author of many guide and inspirational cookbooks, to include:  Maryland's Western Shore, The Guidebook, and two volumes of Chesapeake's Bounty.
 
Books will be available for purchase at the event, with book signings after the presentation.
