Between May and November 2014, the Hôtel-Dieu-le-Comte in Troyes will host the exhibition “1814, la C(h)ampagne de Napoléon”. Organised by the Departmental Archives of the Aube and the Marne, this exhibition brings together one hundred late eighteenth- and early nineteenth-century objects to tell the story of Napoleon's French campaign and his strong ties to the Aube region.
As well as the exhibition, a host of events are planned throughout the summer to commemorate Napoleon's “Campagne de France”, including
17 and 18 May – Re-enacments and fireworks at Brienne-le-Château
23 June and 6 September – Family-friendly theatrical performance of “Un Empire pour Napoléon!” in Troyes
25 July to 24 August – Spectacular light show in Troyes on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings
and on 15 August – a day of Napoleonic food, discoveries and commemorations
