Between 1 and 3 October, the Fondation Napoléon and the Conseil Général de l'Aube: Direction des Archives will host an international conference in Troyes: La campagne de France sous ses aspects diplomatiques, militaires, économiques et l'impact sur la population, organized by Patrice Guiffrey.
The French Campaign was brief – scarcely three months of battles on French soil, mostly in Champagne – but its consequences were considerable, for both the invaded territories and European history as a whole.
With more than twenty-five speakers from across the Napoleonic community, this international conference is not to be missed.
