In Golfe-Juan, exhibitions and events galore will be taking place to celebrate the bicentenary of Napoleon's landing at the port. As well as a 'Napoleonic Village' with exhibits regarding the First Empire, the weekend's events include: a re-enactment of Napoleon's landing at the port, a conference with Alain Pigeard, President of the Souvenir Napoléonien, a cavalry display and a firework display 'son et lumière', as well as various period theatre, dance and military displays.
