April 9-12, 2015, hundreds of historians interested in the issues of military history and transformational conflicts will gather in Montgomery, Alabama, to discuss the latest scholarship in this field. The Program Committee has developed a diverse schedule of panels and sessions centered on the theme of “Conflict and Commemoration: The Influence of War on Society,” as well as other, more traditional military presentations. Leading scholars, as well as some of the best graduate students in the field, will share their latest research findings with the wider historical community.
Sessions will occur April 10, 11, and 12 with special presidential panels scheduled throughout the conference dates.
