18 – 19 June 2015, Brussels
The Centre for Reception Studies at the KU Leuven (University of Leuven) is organising a conference on the transnational receptions of the Battle of Waterloo in the 19th century which proposes to reconsider the Battle and its cultural implications. Papers will be based in the wider discplines of literary criticism, history, reception and cultural memory.

Proposals can be submitted until 7 April (N.B. not 20 March as previously advertised) and successful applicants will be notified by 15 April.
