Join Saul David, author, broadcaster and Professor of Military History at the University of Buckingham for an evening lecture on the Duke of Wellington at Waterloo in 1815. This year marks the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo, the defeat of Napoleon and peace in Europe which George IV celebrated by creating the grand Waterloo Chamber at Windsor Castle, filled with portraits of those instrumental in the victory. This talk from Saul David in the magnificent nave of St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle will evaluate the Duke of Wellington's contribution to the Allied victory over Napoleon Bonaparte.
