Da Napoleone a Murat: l’inizio del Risorgimento italiano

“From Napoleon to Murat: the beginning of Italian Unification” is the title of the exhibition that will be hosted in the former Rosetti Asylum of Forlimpopoli until 6 December. “It is an exhibition of uniforms, memorabilia, weapons and papers” – explains Matthew Bondi president of the cooperative Amphora – “that tells, through the studies of Professor Norino Cani and the historian Pietro Compagni, the importance that the French revolutionary ideals had for our region, ideals that were also brought to Italy by Joachim Murat”.
 
The program of events for this exhibition (in Italian) includes:

Sunday 15 November at 7pm A TASTING EVENT, covering the history of the flavours of the Napoleonic period (10 euros).
Thursday 19 November at 8.45pm there will be a conference, organized by Professor Emanuela Venturi, on the role of women in the Napoleonic period.
 
Educational workshop/creative for children (2 euros)
Saturday 7 November  at 4pm 'How to dress?” (on dresses and uniforms of the Napoleonic era). (from five years old)
Sunday 29 November at 10am young people's workshop, 'History: solve the mysteries'. (from 9 years old)
 
“Da Napoleone a Murat: l'inizio del Risorgimento italiano” is organised by the association Amphora e dall'associazione Arma di cavalleria di Cesena.
