Napoleonica® is the Fondation Napoléon’s trademark raft of research tools designed those interested in the history of the First and Second Empires. It comprises a library open to the public (Paris, France) and a library of e-texts taken from books in the Fondation Napoléon’s collection, a web site offering digitalised primary source material, and an international scholarly online history journal.

Digital Napoleonic Library, related to the First and Second Empires

The digital library
This section is a digital library offering access to the digitised books from the Bibliothèque M. Lapeyre and documents in the widest sense of the term (books, articles, engravings, etc), either scanned or transcribed in their entirety and available on the web, which are related to the First or Second Empires or published on those periods (several thousand books and articles online!).
