Scale model of the city of Rome, constructed using onsite surveys made by officers of the French engineering corps during the occupation of the city

This model was completed on 18 May 1852.
 
Featured as part of the “Napoleon III and Italy” exhibition at the Musée de l'Armée, Paris, October 2011 – 15 January 2012.
