Dining room

This room was enlarged, and then decorated in the Pompeian style, in 1800 by Fontaine. The dancers were painted by Louis Lafitte after sketches by Percier. In 1812, Berthault added the astragal mouldings framing the doors and windows.
The table by Jacob-Desmalter comes from the Tuileries and the twelve chairs (Jacob-Frères, 1804) used to be in the Murat library in the Palais de l'Elysée.
