General Nicolas-Marie Songis des Courbons (1761-1810)

Captain in 1797, artillery Brigadier general in 1799,
Division general in 1800, first Inspector general of artillery in 1805, Songis was head of the artillery of the Grande Armée in the same year and led the artillery of the armée d'Allemagne in 1809.
