On 19 February 1806 a decree was issued stating that the feast of Saint Napoleon and that of the re-establishment of the Catholic religion in France would be celebrated throughout the Empire on 15 August, the day of the Assumption, and the moment of the conclusion of the Concordat” (Art. 1).
