THE PRINCE DE TRAUTMANSDORFF BIDS FAREWELL TO H.M. THE EMPRESS MARIE LOUISE OF AUSTRIA, near to the village of St Pierre [Sankt Peter am Hart], one league from Braunau, 16 March, 1810
The Prince de Trautmansdorff, steward to H.M. the Emperor of Austria, having completed the formalities required for the delivery and reception, advanced and bowed towards H.M. the Empress, asking permission to kiss her hand upon his taking leave of her. H.M. the Empress granted him this, as she did to all the knights and ladies in her entourage who had accompanied her since Vienna.
