A letter written by Lord Nelson in 1799 was recently sold at auction for £20,200. The correspondence, addressed to the Honourable William Frederick Wyndham, British ambassador to to Tuscany, outlines Nelson's displeasure at being unable to secure government funds in order to dispatch news of his successful blockade in Naples.
