The Institute of Historical Research has published two new book reviews, taking in three recently released historical works: Loyalism and Radicalism in Lancashire 1798-1815 by Katrina Navickas, Riotous Assemblies: Popular Protest in Hanoverian England by Adrian Randall, and The Civilising Mission and the English Middle Class, 1792-1850: The 'Heathen' at Home and Overseas by Alison Twells.
