The Gibraltar Chronicle online (BOT) has posted an article on the planned memorial for a soldier who died two hundred years ago whilst participating in the Peninsular campaign. The article notes that Lieutenant Colonel John Scrope Colquitt died of fever on 4 September 1812 in the Seville vicinity. The monument, which cost about 10,000 Euros (£8,175), will be unveiled on 5 May.
