This month's edition of History Today is packed with Peninsular War articles and review. As well as an article on the impact that the theft of Goya's Wellington portrait had on British criminal law (by James Whitfield), there are also book reviews of recent releases Tides Of War (by Stella Tillyard), To War With Wellington (by Peter Snow), and Conquer Or Die! (by Ben Hughes). The May edition of History Today also features an article from Stella Tillyard on writing historical fiction, with reference to her novel, Tides Of War.
