The latest issue of History Today (UK) features an article from Allan Mallinson on the British Army and its heritage. There is also Bernard Porter's article on the building of Britain's Foreign and Commonwealth Office, which fell victim during the Victorian period to a battle between competing Gothic and Classical architecture styles.
