The January/February 2012 issue of “La Lettre de Malmaison” features a short introduction to the first step in the institution's “numérique et accessibilité” digital service project. Both potential and seasoned visitors will find the château's virtual visit application – available now via Apple's AppStore – an exciting new way to tour the property's public spaces. The application is also designed to widen access to the château's sights to include wheelchair users and those with reduced mobility. The application is currently being ported to Android, and a second application – introducing users to Malmaison's extremely fragile costume collection – is planned.
