"Nay! Ney (Double Ney)" play taking place in Salisbury, NC

The Salisbury Post (USA) reports on an upcoming play which melds history and fiction, presenting the intriguing case of Salisbury local, Peter Stewart Ney, who claimed on his deathbed to be Maréchal Ney, one of Napoleon's generals. His tombstone even reads “In memory of Peter Stuart Ney/ A native of France and soldier of the French Revolution under Napoleon Bonaparte/ Who departed this life November 15th, 1846/ Aged 77 years.” The play, written by Jim Epperson and entitled “Nay! Ney (Double Ney)”, takes place at the Lee Street Theatre, Salisbury.
