The Press Association reports on the nomination of Tides of War, Stella Tillyard's novel set during the Napoleonic wars, to the Orange Prize longlist. The shortlist will be announced on 17 April, with the winner named at a ceremony on 30 May. The winning author will receive a cheque for £30,000.
