Earl Bathurst and the British Empire

This is the first ever biography of the 3rd Earl of Bathurst, Secretary of State for War and the Colonies from 1812 to 1827. As such it is a key work for all those interested in the politics concerning the British Empire leading up to Waterloo and beyond, and of course Saint Helena.
