Five hundred pages of useful, precise and where necessary passionate commentary on the 15 years of the reign of Napoléon Bonaparte. (Th. L.) The author studied at the Ecole normale supérieure, received his agrégation and doctorate in history and is at present Professor of Contemporary History at the University of Rouen and President of the Institut Napoléon.
