This catalogue accompanies the exhibition “Napoleon & Eugenie which is currently taking place at the Nassau County Museum of Art in Roslyn Harbour, New York. The exhibition focusses on the Second Empire period, from 1852-1870, and the “triumphs of the reign of Napoleon and Eugenie”, drawing from the collection of Christopher Forbes, who describes Napoleon III as “one of the great underrated world leaders.”
