Waterloo 1815-2015: Visions guerrières

('Waterloo 1815-2015: Visions of war')

The suburb of Boulogne (just outside Paris) is presenting an exhibition at the Bibliothèque Paul Marmottan to mark the bicentenary of the Battle of Waterloo. The history of the battle is taken as a pretext for reflections on memory and commemoration, and considers the modern vision of war. 70 works by the illustrator Nicolas Renard will be on display, renewing the traditional iconography of the battle of Waterloo.

Entry: €6, €4
Open days with the artist: Saturday 16 May (7 pm – midnight), Saturday 13 June (9.30 am – 5 pm)
Contact: (+33) 1 55 18 57 77
